You will meet, face-to-face, these gentle giants and experience their warm breath and their unique trunks while feeding them. Take a walk with these majestical giants and appreciate them in their natural habitat. We invite you to interact with these amazing elephants while we advance efforts to protect African elephants for the future. You will learn all about these magnificent animals and appreciate their size and gentleness.
The dedicated staff commit to using positive reinforcement elephant training methods. Therefore, they have relaxed elephants who enjoy interacting with guests. The elephants are in charge of the sanctuary and are treated with love and kindness.

Monkey Sanctuary
There is also a monkey sanctuary tour here as an addition. which is a great experience. Meet these entertaining characters who love to interact with guests. Primates such as our squirrel, spider, and capuchin monkeys receive a new lease on life at Bushbabies Monkey Sanctuary. Previously household pets or bred for the pet trade, they are now released into a wild environment. It is laden with waterfalls, lush vegetation, natural mountain springs and the chance to reside in as natural and environment as possible. The goal is to give them the opportunity to live as they would in the wild. It is special to see so many varieties of monkeys in one place living their best lives and experience their antics and curiosity as you walk through their forest home.
We can provide transport to the sanctuary. Additionally, nearby are restaurants for lunch and a safe, tourist market to buy your souveniers.
Elephant tours are at 0800, 1000 and 1400
Monkey tours are every hour on the hour from 0900 to 1600
