Your Suggested Itinerary
Get ready for your memorable adventure! We will warmly greet you with a pick up from your crew hotel or the airport and whisk you away to our beautiful lodge. First, we will treat you to a delicious lunch in our picturesque garden. Afterward, immerse yourself in the tranquility of our pool and gardens where you can unwind while listening to the sounds of the wildlife and the birds. As evening approaches savor a delicious dinner in the garden, where you can delight in the enchanting sounds of birds, jackals and baboons moving through the valley. After dinner, gather around the fire-pit to share stories and laughter as we put the world to rights under the stars. (weather permitting).

Alternatively, join a guided drive or Bush Walk through the nearby game reserve led by qualified rangers. Here you can have the chance to spot the Big 5! While we can’t predict which animals you’ will see on any given day you’ll encounter you might just see lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, leopard, cheetah and more! With over 300 bird species and a variety of other wildlife like giraffe, zebra and hippo, every day brings a new exciting adventure.
Moreover, for an additional £10 per head consider an unforgettable horseback safari where you can hope to see zebra, giraffe, and a variety of antelope against breathtaking scenery – all from the back of a horse!

Cabin Crew -2 night Package
A relaxing 2 night stay makes you feel like you are on holiday. It gets you out of the usual routine and into the beauty of the South African Bush.
This package includes 2 nights accommodation, including all meals at the lodge. It also includes either a visit to meet some lions up close and personal and a game drive or 2 game drives.
The Lion and Wildlife Experience
At the Lion and wildlife experience you will have the opportunity to maybe feed some baby lions, walk with some adolescent lions and see their parents. It is part of a lion conservation project where the lions are being bred for release into the game reserves to widen the gene pool. It is both an experience of a lifetime and very educational regarding lion conservation in Africa. There is a post for more details here if you would like to read more about the project.
The Game Drives
We will take you out to the best Game Drives in the area at the nearby Dinoking Big Five Game Reserve. On the Game Drive you can choose either the early sunrise game drive or the morning one. In the summer, the sunrise is at 0530 in the morning meaning we leave the lodge at 0415, and the morning one is at 0900 meaning we leave Kiasoma at 0730. In the Winter they are a little later so you will either leave Kiasoma at 0500 or 0800.
Particularly in the winter the game drives can be cold so you will need to bring warm clothes and a coat.
You will have a guided drive through the nearby game reserve where you can see the Big 5! We never know which animals you will see on any given day. There are lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, leopard, cheetah, giraffe, zebra, brown hyena, wildebeest, red hartebeest, tsessebe, eland, kudu, impala, waterbuck, ostrich, jackal, hippo, crocodile. There are also over 300 bird species. These include fish eagles, the endangered blue crane and a breeding pair of martial eagles.
Additional Experiences
On the 2 day package you will also have time to add in some additional experiences . These can include a horseback safari, zip lining, quad biking, a visit to the elephant and monkey sanctuary. Or you can try a day out to Hartbeespoort. Here you can have a lunch cruise on the dam and go to the lively beach bar for cocktails in the most stunning environment.
Come and look at the incredible African sky. Watch the sunrise and the sunset and count the stars. Sit around the fire pit and put the world to rights. Enjoy the peace and tranquility of our beautiful valley.
